Hello PLL Members,
Next Saturday, November 2nd 830AM-12PM we will be asking for our members to come help us clean up Lynndale and start Winterizing the Fields. Below are the tasks we need to get completed to Winterize our fields at Lynndale.
Required tasks: - Remove fence caps from all field
- Group and store fence caps by field
- Needle nose wire cutters for zip ties and a bucket for clippings.
- Remove sponsor banners from F1
- Each should be rolled graphic side-in and labeled
- Remove windscreens from F1
- Empty and clean all fieldboxes
- Remove backstop pads from each field
- Be prepared with broom to clean spider nests
- Use tractor and trailer to stack and transport pads to shed
- Store in shed grouped and labeled by field
If extra time and volunteer power:
- Clean any dugout trash
- Empty sprinkler room as much as possible
- Remove and store field sponsor signs (requires ladder)
- Blow / pressure wash dugouts, bleacher areas
- Empty, clean, organize shed
Things volunteers can bring:
- Work gloves/boots/layers
- Wire cutter for zip ties
- Blower/pressure washer if anyone is ambitious
